I also proofread English texts sent by customers, checking that they are free from grammatical and terminological errors, and that they are fit for purpose.This is a deadline-driven environment, necessitating the ability to work with a clear mind and attention to detail under time-pressure, in conjunction with other team members. Working in two German primary schools, I assisted English teachers with their lessons and also held my own lessons for an average of 20 children aged 9-11. Furthermore, I established and ran my own weekly after-school English club which involved developing creative and engaging activities to enable the children to learn English in a fun and supportive environment. I held one session for 10 children aged 6-8 and one for 10 children aged 9-11.

I worked at the cash desk, carrying out transactions and refunds, and offering support and advice in answer to questions and complaints. I also answered the phone and often had to multi-task in a busy environment. My role involved working both as part of a sales team and independently. Moreover, I held responsibility for cashing up and carrying out the relevant administrative and data management tasks, including maintaining records of the daily profit and inputting this data onto computers.
