This business was a long-time dream of mine and I was excited to finally have the opportunity to start it. Sadly, COVID-19 started during my first year and despite offering drive-up service and delivery, I was not able to gain enough new business to keep going. We closed the doors at the end of September, 2019.

This career sabbatical was a great time spent with my three young children. During this time I also attained my Master's of Business Administration.

Responsibilities◦ Instructor at the Department of Combat Medic Training in Fort Sam Houston, TX.◦ Inventory and management of durable computer & simulation equipment valued at more than $2 mil for the Battle Command Training Center (BCTC) in Fort Sam Houston, TX.◦ Requisition and maintenance for the physical building occupied by the BCTC.◦ Participated in the logistics of building a new facility to be occupied by the BCTC in Fort Sam Houston, TX.◦ Unit Armorer responsible for the accountability, maintenance, and set up of weapons, night vision equipment, sensitive radio equipment and medical computers while at Fort Drum, NY.◦ Administration of a Battalion Aid Station which served more than 1,000 U.S. and Foreign National Soldiers, Third Country Nationals and Afghan Nationals with a crew of roughly 15 medics as well as ancillary services.◦ Administration of a Battalion shot program administering flu shots to more than 350 Soldiers during OEF IX.◦ Emergency patient care for medical and trauma patients in Afghanistan during OEF VII and OEF IX.◦ Routine patient care for medical patients while in Fort Drum, NY.
