Currently working as Lead PA-C for TeamHealth at Hillcrest Hospital, Mayfield Heights, OH. Responsible for the management of staff PAs at the facility, including (but not limited to) scheduling, hiring, maintaining records, evaluations, and coaching. Act as liaison between APC staff and Facility Medical Director as well as TeamHealth management. Also work clinical hours in the Emergency Department. Currently credentialed at Hillcrest, Euclid, Fairview and Southwest General Hospitals. Involves the care and treatment of patients presenting with multiple medical complaints. Communication with other staff members is key. Knowledge of a wide variety of medical diagnoses and procedures. I enjoy caring for high acuity patients; ie sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, etc. I am skilled in the use of Ultrasound in the ER for peripheral and central line placement, FAST and RUSH exams, limited pregnancy exam, and evaluation for pneumothorax. Skilled in closure and treatment of complex traumatic wounds. I currently volunteer at the Lorain County Free Clinic. This involves caring for adults with Internal Medicine needs. Extra interests include Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. I would like to expand my medical practice into these areas in the future. I enjoy running long distances. I am a volunteer Cross Country Coach for Firelands Schools.
