Processed satellite imagery to highlight the impact of urban growth and decline on natural landscapes for publication in a book through the Yale University Press (Fall 2017).Analyzed remotely sensed images of over 100 international urban areas using ENVI and ArcGIS. Created automated image processing scripts using Python and IDL.

Student of James Saiers' lab, studying hydrologic modeling, nutrient and sediment pollution, and ecosystem service valuation.

Assessed Coach Inc.’s corporate water risk as part of Yale coursework. Researched supply chain best management practices and mapped areas of water quantity and quality concern.Alongside team of three, presented results and recommendations to members of operations and general counsel departments.

Created original database of all surface water drinking sources for the state of California and the watersheds which feed them, to link major cities to their water sources and highlight areas for conservation. Created similar database for the 500 most populous cities in the world, which was incorporated into the Urban Water Blueprint, a webmap platform that suggests the BMPs that will be most successful In improving each city's water quality and quantity.

Researched how plants’ leaves adapt plastically to climate change, as part of a larger project to make accurate models that predict the movement of plant communities over the next 50-100 years. Identified woody plants across the Bay area.

Assisted in studies of plant-pollinator mutualisms and the effect of herbivory of plant fertilization. Chose thesis topic, gathered equipment and data in backcountry conditions, analyzed data, and wrote 45-page thesis. Presented results of thesis to committee and interested community members.
