About Kathleen Bishop

I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. Throughout my time at Penn, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Penn Acute Research Collaboration (PARC) Lab, focusing on the creation of a novel platelet cell model and improving platelet transfusion units through cold-storage. Additionally, I had the pleasure of working as an undergraduate teaching assistant (TA) for the Organic Chemistry lab series, discovering and furthering my love for teaching.Currently, I am working as a Research Technician within the Bachovchin Lab at the Sloan Kettering Institute of MSK studying the mechanism of the NLRP1 inflammasome.
