• Managed FCI’s portfolio of projects for the Anglophone Africa program.
• Managed financial oversight of program including preparing the annual budget, monitoring expenses, and reviewing financial reports from field offices.
• Developed, evaluated, monitored grant funded contracts, work plans, budgets and spending and the achievement and evaluation of program and project objectives.
• Prepared and managed grant-specific budgets. Ensured proper documentation to comply with donor and institutional reporting requirements.
• Ensured that FCI country teams implemented program and financial policies and procedures.
• Lead and supported in-country meetings and trainings with project partners.

Greater New York City Area

• Provided program support and technical assistance to local FCI staff in Kenya and Tanzania (through 2009) for maternal and adolescent sexual and reproductive health initiatives. Regular activities include developing.
• Reviewed, edited, and contributed to the development of proposals to foundations, multilaterals and bilaterals for projects in Kenya and Tanzania.
• Conducted statistical analyses on data collected during the Skilled Care Initiative, a 5-year operations research in Burkina Faso, Kenya and Tanzania project funded by the Gates Foundation. Also developed presentations.
• Provided program support to the coordinator of the Postabortion Care Consortium (PACC) and the International Consortium on Emergency Contraception (ICEC).

• Provided program support to women’s sexual and reproductive health initiatives. Supported country program in Uganda in the submission of financial quarterly reports.
• Conducted literature reviews, drafted concept papers and edited technical guides for the Safe Motherhood Program, which provided technical assistance and training in emergency obstetric care, postabortion care, HIV.
• Identified and organized key research articles, program documents, and training materials on obstetric and traumatic fistula.

Greater New York City Area

Provided comprehensive case management, including needs assessment, individualized service plans, information and referrals for domestic violence survivors and victims of September 11th.

• Taught English in a government girls’ school, and initiated English language pilot program for first and second graders.
• Established and administered an English summer camp for fifth graders.
• Coordinated and implemented an End of Service conference for Peace Corps Volunteers.
