The ANU Indonesia Project is a leading centre for research, policy development and graduate training in the Australia-Indonesia region. As Project Manager, Kathryn manages the Indonesia Project’s externally-funded research and development programs; the operational relationships between Indonesia Project partners and DFAT; enhances and promotes the profile of the Indonesia Project and increases the impact of research undertaken by contributing to the implementation of research communications.

As the Faculty of Arts and Education's first Portfolio Manager, Engagement, Kathryn led a multifunctional portfolio of professional staff in marketing, partnerships, international recruitment, and work integrated learning (WIL). In early 2020, responsibilities expanded to include leading the faculty’s teams in student experience and admissions, academic progress and integrity, and curriculum and governance. With overall responsibility for managing the faculty's key student, industry, and international facing professional staff operational teams, this position played a key role in Faculty leadership, developing and delivered on strategic and operational priorities, and acting as Faculty General Manager when required.

Responsible for overall student satisfaction on program. Responsibilities include:- Event Management and coordination of all on-campus and off-campus student services, special programs, and events.- Manage international partner relationships, manage support services for visiting students and partners, and communicate student recruitment and admissions policies to network of international partners. - Collaborate across functions (marketing, admissions, faculty, management) to provide outstanding student support services
