I used to be a student. And then, I graduated from college. I am supposedly done learning all there is to electrical engineering. But we both know that’s unlikely. There are many niches I am unaware of, and it is my responsibility to find the one I suit best. So, I’m here. Searching for a job that will kick-start my career. I’ll be upfront and say that my ideal day involves reading a good mystery book while on a cruise around the Mediterranean with my family. However, if you had asked me about my ideal day a few months ago, my answer would have been very different. Back then, my ideal day would have been to wake up, have the most important meal of the day, and go to school with my projects and formula sheets ready. In the end, I would have amazed myself with my preparedness and intelligence so thoroughly that I would go to sleep happy. At college, finding happiness while doing a difficult assignment became a familiar task. Rooting out errors displayed by digital simulations in programs like PSPICE, correctly completing a microelectronic circuit design, and figuring out the Root Locus method were all results that made my day. I learned how to think constructively. For example, if an electronic device doesn’t work, try rebooting it. 9/10 it’ll fix itself. Your scientific calculator won’t turn on? Don’t throw it away! Maybe the lithium battery just needs to be changed. These tips do work, and while I may come across a bit nonchalant about listing my skillset, I am earnest about working in the engineering field and my LinkedIn profile is receiving almost daily refurbishing.
