    I joined the Attendance Team at Robertsbridge Community College just before the COVID-19 pandemic. My role was to ensure that all pupil absences were recorded appropriately and that all class registers were taken and submitted. This role was very fast paced and I was required to carry out a number of different tasks simultaneously. Being able to quickly and proficiently use the school database and safeguarding reporting software ensured that I was able to record all school absences and report any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate people. The ability to work well under pressure while responding to often challenging and complex situations was key to my success in this role. During my time at Robertsbridge Community College I also worked on the School Reception. This busy environment required me to welcome and process all visitors to the school site accordingly, to answer the telephone, complete administrative tasks such as letter writing and correspondance to parents. I was also a First Aid Trained member of staff and assisted students who needed to visit the Medical Room and receive care and treatment. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety that this role provided on a daily basis and excelled at using multiple database systems.
