With 9+ years in the Non-Profit fundraising sector, my favorite part of any position I’ve held is client relations. Whether it’s brainstorming new ideas, how to best make a budget work for an organization’s goals, or communicating essential dates and performance metrics - open communication and working together as a team has always been the highlight of my day. Those close to me may not be surprised- I’ve always been labeled an extrovert.My skill set begins with annual planning. Once our goals are outlined and our plan is set, I get to work ensuring the details and strategy fall in line and are executed to perfection. Not only do I thrive building relationships, I also thrive in the metrics. Pulling campaign reporting and ensuring target goals are being met, and huddling to evaluate and pivot if need be is essential in my position. Long story short: I help set annual goals and then work everyday to ensure my clients are meeting or exceeding them.Stepping away from the client side of things, I also have led a group dedicated to engaging employees and cultivating a strong and healthy company culture for 7+ years. While the last year has thrown our team some curveballs, the new hurdle is how to virtually connect our workforce and make sure everyone has the same sense of team as if we were together in an office. It’s a challenge we’re taking head on.
