Integration of Nordigen in GoCardless after the acquisition. Working in the Bank Account Data group, supporting the commercial and corporate aspects of the local hub and implementing the commercial strategy for the product within the GoCardless legal scope. Also working with the Corporate Services Group.

In-house legal work to ensure everyday operations in a company that is a licensed account information service provider and a subject to PSD2. - Communication and problem solving with the local and foreign regulators (scope of PSD2 and RTS); - Work on acquiring Payment Initiation Service Provider's licence;- Establishment of a UK branch;- Working in close liaison with Sales teams and providing contract management;- Consulting in HR, employment matters, migration and relocation affairs (filing for residency permits);- Implementation of different procedures in AML, Employment and Corporate fields; - Work on compliance matters;- Corporate and Commercial work

Main focus on Commercial and Corporate matters: - dealing with all type of matters that require registration in the Commercial registry of Latvia (share capital changes, changes of management, address, etc.);- providing assistance with preparing documentation for local and foreign regulators in the countries of operation;- drafting and reviewing different types of agreements for business operation;- drafting all sorts of corporate documents.Immigration matters:- managing the process of acquiring residency permits for foreign employees of the company (EU Blue card cases, temporary residence permits) starting from initial communication with the employee before commencing work until termination of the residency permit;- dispute resolution with Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs.Compliance matters: - Preparing a full package of AML/CTF documentation for introducing in the company as well as presenting for the local supervisor (SRS) and showing full compliance;- Managing different information requests from countries of operation as well as organizing exchange of information, possible risk evaluation and mitigationSupportive work:- Providing support in everyday business operations;- Translations, establishment of a document management system.
