My position at McDonald's was that of a back-area crew member. Tasks I had to fulfill were food preparation, stock intake, maintenance and cleaning. I worked various shift types from opening to close to overnight.When working the overnight shift at McDonald's you definitely need time management skills as you have to continue operating the store while doing the maintenance and preparation work for the the "open" shift in the morning. Maintenance on the store and equipment needed to be done in time to prepare the breakfast and take in delivery both of which had strict schedules. My experience from working at McDonald's will greatly advantage me when working in high intensity, busy and stressful areas. I found that working at McDonald's afforded me skills such as time management as well as leadership from directing newer crew what jobs needed to be done as well as by the time they needed to be accomplished by.
