I design a variety of graphics for both digital and print media including company branding, vehicle wraps, signage, stationary, documents, and more. This job requires constant communication with the sales and production departments to ensure jobs are translated efficiently between each step.Working with large clients such as Sobeys, Co Op and BC Hydro, I understand the importance of maintaining brand guidelines and strict deadlines.

I help clients (both local and international) create eye catching logos, marketing materials, websites, and more. I have worked on a variety of print and web media from brochures and stationary to banner ads and landing pages. My skills also extend to illustration and photography.

I oversee the graphics department. I provide graphic design services for the company and sales team. I create many flyers and do a lot of product mockups for the sales team to send to our clients. I also provide custom design services for clients looking for custom logos or designs on t-shirts, drinkware, headware, etc.

I helped provide solutions for customers looking to purchase video games and related products. My job involved up selling warranties on games and systems, as well as driving sales towards goals. I also provided customer service in the form of recommendations and information for customers to help them make their purchases. This was a fun job where you could learn just as much from certain customers as you could from fellow employees. I never stopped learning in this environment.

Here I work on a variety of graphic design projects for print and online applications including RFP design, website design + wireframing, brochure design, logo design, flyer design, and photo editing. I worked with an overseas developer and had to effectively communicate our design ideas to him so that he could develop web pages. Additionally I provided administrative support in the form of invoicing as well as monitoring 3 separate email accounts.

I was employed as a Pre-Press Office Assistant at Contact Canada. Here I performed pre-press tasks including managing advertisements received, communicating with clients, editing proofs, graphic design, and article editing & layouts using the Adobe Suite of software. I also performed general office duties such as answering phones and sending emails including e-blasts using the Mailchimp online client. I also managed a database of information for various companies. This database management involves researching information about various companies as well as general online research.
