I grew up in a small town on the north shore of Massachusetts and spent most of my life not being sure what I wanted to do. I graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in both Computer Science and English in 2022 and started working as a software engineer for DEKA. Even though I worked hard and loved my coworkers, mentors, and boss, I felt directionless.I decided to take a risk, left DEKA, and came to study Data Science at Columbia. It is a blessing being surrounded by some of the most driven and talented people I’ve ever met here, and I’m lucky enough to have found a real passion for data analytics and Machine Learning. I really believe we can use tools like these to help people, to get more done, and to make the world a better place. I can’t wait to start my career once I graduate this December. I'm looking for a stable work environment where I can learn, grow, and apply myself to work that I believe in. When I’m surrounded by earnest, hardworking people looking to do some good in the world, I will know I’m home. I’m so grateful for my education, the opportunities I have had, and—especially—my family. I wouldn’t be here today without a lot of help. I’d like to give it my all and return the favor.
