Kees Ebben serves as a clinical informatician at IKNL, where he actively contributes to the development of methodologies for semantic information standards and related products, including clinical reports, decision algorithms, and information exchange scenarios. His primary focus is on creating cyclic information flows to support the design of a learning health system, while also leveraging real-world data to ensure these standards are both relevant and applicable in clinical settings. In addition, he conducts research and clinical evaluations to facilitate the smooth implementation of these products in practice. Prior to his current role, he worked at IKNL in the Netherlands Cancer Registry, as well as in the research and guidelines departments. He is currently pursuing a PhD in medical informatics.
