Promoted from Operations Associate role to become an inaugural member of the new Weezy Last Mile department. Responsible for creating, executing, disseminating and managed rider courier related processes. including creating SOPs outlining safety, comfort, brand representation and customer interaction procedures applicable to all couriers.Researched, tested and standardised equipment and uniform for couriers. Contributed to the optimisation of dispatch algorithm for customer orders to improve courier throughput, average delivery time and reduce cost per delivery. Optimized store layouts to improve flow of customer orders from fulfilment to delivery to reduce handling errors, decrease average delivery time and reduce cost per delivery. Weezy subject matter expert for rider scheduling management software, Planday. Designed the scheduling features for every store's Planday schedule including troubleshooting scheduling issues and rider HR problems for across many departments. Worked on a weekly rota basis to oversee live operations for entire Weezy estate. Handled all operational escalations from shift managers, store managers and area managers for issues affecting dispatch and delivery of customer orders caused by fleet, staffing, technology, high demand and external factors.Lead initiative for optimising the courier schedules for half of the entire Weezy estate across the UK based on throughput, cost per delivery, delivery distance and courier performance. Comfortably used full Gsuite platform, Microsoft excel and Looker software to analyse last mile data week on week for presentation to management.Responsible for sourcing and presenting the correct rider data across the full estate for our successful acquisition by Getir Ltd.
