Transparency, Integrity, and Consistency.The foundation for how I choose to lead and interact with those I meet and work with.I started my Food & Beverage career working in quick service restaurants in the early 2010's, several years later I was given the opportunity to work in the back hall doing prep work in a busy restaurant and entertainment centre. After a few years of applying myself, utilizing situational awareness, learning from my peers, and having access to great mentors and Chefs who taught me the foundation of this industry. I was able to work my way up, studying in my own time and practising my trade as I trained across all stations and into a supervisory role where I was responsible for opening and closing the restaurant.After further opportunity, I was able to continue my culinary career working in a downtown staple and core business, Budweiser Gardens, a sports and entertainment centre. Home to our local major junior hockey team, our north American basketball super league team, a top venue award winner, with concerts, comedy shows, ice shows, plays, awards ceremonies, charity fights, and curling with an attendance capacity ranging from 2,800 to 10,200 people. Delivering 3-course dinner packages ranging from our 160+ person restaurant to 6000+ person charity events, breakfast, lunch, and dinner catering for full cast & crew, celebrity riders, all while continuing to hone my own craft and develop the skills of our team.
