HCC Children's Services & University of Chichester Academy Trust, Mill Chase Academy Secondary School, 2016-2019, £32m:Design Lead and Project Architect responsible for this new 6FE school for 900 students at the centre of a 4000 home masterplan in Whitehill and Bordon, East Hants.Working closely with the existing school and academy to develop plans around a faculty based campus model with two teaching blocks, a school hall with music drama faculty and a community sports hall and activity space. A brick colonnade at the front of the site leads towards a cut-through entrance which takes you into a central courtyard at the heart of the school. The buildings are located on the old site of Woolmer forrest and are surrounded by mature trees to the north and south. The plans have been developed with Sports England and East Hants to deliver significant sports pitches on the site as part of this healthy living masterplan development.HCC Children's Services & The University of Winchester Academy Trust, Barton Farm Primary School, 2014-2018, £9m:Project and Design Lead responsible for this new 2FE school for 420 children at the centre of a 2000 home development in Winchester. A low energy sustainable, fabric first approach has been adopted and the school is designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent with a Wild flower green roof, PV's and a rainwater harvesting system. The project has been developed using BIM with a whole team multi-disciplinary approach to develop a fully coordinated Revit model.HCC Children's Services, Westgate Primary School, Winchester, 2014, £6m:2FE primary school as part of an all through school campus in the centre of Winchester.Senior Architect responsible for the detailed design of the main atrium space at the heart of the school. The School of Architecture extension opened in 2013 and featured on the front cover of the RIBA Journal and the John Henry Brookes building featured in the RIBA Journal after opening in 2014. Arts University Bournemouth, Photography & Student Services Building, 2009-2015, (£4.6m):Associate Director in charge of two projects being designed to BREEAM Excellent and Passivhaus standards. Worked on Feasibility study design proposals for conversion of Student accommodation to Student workshop and Studios. RIBA regional award for Student Services and RIBA regional award shortlisted for Photography building. The building achieved a ‘Very Good’ rating’ under the 2006 BREEAM assessment.Winchester University, Masterplan, 2007-2017:Worked with the University to strategically develop the campus over the next 10 years.Winchester University, University Centre, 2005-2007, £7m:Project Architect responsible for the design, delivery and on site design development. RIBA award 2008 and City of Winchester Trust new building award 2010. Best bar none award.

85 Southwark Street, London, 2001-2003, £6.3m:Managed the design and production from stage-D to Tender information for the external envelope and worked as project Architect from start on site to completion for a new bespoke headquarters studio building for A&M Architects. RIBA regional and RIBA London Building of the Year Award, Civic Trust Award, BCO Corporate Workplace London & National Office of the Year Award and a Royal Fine Art Commission Trust Special Award for Offices 2004.Land Securities, 333 Oxford St. office + retail building, London, 2000-2002, £15m:Facade Package Architect. New mixed use office and retail building on a landmark site at the intersection of Oxford Street and New Bond Street.

J.Sainsbury, No.1 Union Street, London, 1999-2000, £14m:Helped the client with ‘New ways of working’, incorporating new branding/identity in a refurbished existing early century courtyard building. Work included design of an air-inflated glazed atrium space, new façade and interior refurbishment. BBC Broadcast, Broadcasting House, London, 1999-2000:Worked on the detailed design of new offices, café, recording and post-production facilities for a prestigious interiors project for the BBC, as part of their £40m office development. BAA Lynton, 30 St. James’ Sq. London, 1999, £0.6m: Worked within a small design team, developing concept design and producing working drawings for construction for this fast track fit-out. Cambridge University, Raised Faculty Building, 1998-1999, £5m: Worked as part of a team on initial building survey, producing planning documents and developing the concept strategy for the refurbishment of Sir Hugh Cassons' 1962 Grade 2 listed library with new entrance facilities. Managed the design, co-ordination and production of working drawings for the ground floor reception and stair/lift tower for tender stage Taisei Europe Limited, Office Headquarters, London, 1998, £8m: Worked on the design and production of the shell and core for this new Office building on an infill site within the Mayfair Conservation Area, providing the European Headquarters for Japan’s second largest construction company. Molkerei Alois Müller, Factory facilities & Office Building, Market Drayton, 1997-98, £16m:Production of working drawings for planning permission through to construction on-site. Work included a new build office extension for the German market leading yoghurt makers.

Worked on a variety of projects throughout my year out including; concept design of a community centre in Reading, various housing schemes for a local developer and a full building survey and appraisal for a new interior lighting scheme for Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford.
