Between October 08 and October 09 I lead the Business Development team in its key objectives of driving top line growth while rolling out a new independent agency point of sale system. I brought in and championed the partnership with salesforce.com as our CRM solution along with market segment leading client communication and education protocols. During my final year at Affirmative, I managed the company's relationship with the top producing accounts in TX, LA and AL.

Responsible for Independent Agent marketing of Imperial's Auto, Home and Flood insurance products in TX, LA and AR. Managed a team of 6 direct reports.

Managed the marketing team transition through the saleof Old American Insurance Services to subsidiary of VestaFire which was ultimately spun off in July 2004 IPO asAffirmative Insurance (Nasdaq - AFFM); Developed comprehensive training program (licensing and continuing education courses) for appointed agencies; Manage and direct all sales functions for Affirmative’s southern region (TX, FL, NM & SC). Marketing functionsinclude development of independent agent relationships and management of communication with these agents so as to maximize premium production. Managed a team of 13 direct reports.

Developed and launched a captive retail strategytargeting Texas Hispanic market; Developed and launched large agent program; Researched other opportunities to diversify OldAmerican’s product and distribution mix (i.e., Agencycontinuation plans, cross-border coverage, propertycoverage marketing plans, etc.); Developed and managed Agency Database that tracksand reports production, loss ratio, rep contacts and othersegmentation data that defines the agent force; In addition to managing marketing team, worked asmarketing representative in own territory; Helped to build and maintain an image amongst agentsthat was rewarded with the company of the year awardby Auto Insurance Agents of Texas (AIAT).

Researched, developed and launched fee incomeproducts for The Associates consumer and commercialtrucking lending operations (i.e., single premium term,credit life, A&H, IUI, debt waiver, motor clubs, truckersliability, personal auto, etc.). Drafted white papers on various niche marketing opportunities. Developed nationwide customer survey program to measure customer satisfaction and regulatorycompliance.
