Vast experience in the development, management, and production support of large distributed client/server and web based systems, 10 of these years in the defense and intelligence communities. This experience has included management of development and support personnel, program management, operations analytics software (Splunk) implementation, endpoint management software (Tanium) implementation, Java/J2EE development, Business rules development (Ilog, JBOSS BRMS, Drools), Business process management (Oracle BPM, jBPM), UNIX application development and support, application deployment development and testing (IBM UrbanCode Deploy), database (Sybase, Informix, and Oracle) development and support, UNIX device driver development, and leading numerous prototyping and evaluation efforts.Most recently, was a Technical Account Manager at Tanium, where I was responsible for supporting the Tanium product at several on-premise and Cloud customers in all aspects of using Tanium.At FedEx I held a variety of positions, including Manager for almost 4 years, and Technical Fellow for 19 years. I have built highly successful teams from scratch. I have both led and managed several Enterprise wide cross-divisional projects and teams. As a technician, I’ve developed client/server and J2EE systems that adhere to standards, are completed on or ahead of schedule, and have minimal defects, with an eye towards long-term ease of use, maintenance, and reliability.

Specifically worked with the next generation of shipping applications to ensure their reliability. - Technical lead for a team developing the next generation of shipping software for Fedex utilizing a business rules engine (Ilog JRules) integrated with a Java Service Oriented Architecture.- Held technical lead and managerial positions on an Enterprise Relationship Management project (called Nexus) used by Fedex to support it’s internal and external technologies, and the migration of this project to a J2EE architecture. As manager on this project, duties included personnel, project, and budget management for a group comprised of 14 Fedex and 5 contractor personnel, vendor evaluations and negotiations, and setting technical direction for the assigned projects and the group. As technical lead duties included setting the system architecture and development directions for our department, development of project plans and associated funding, vendor interactions, directing the prototyping of each of the system components, development and support of all interface software, assisting ongoing projects with technical and performance issues, and mentoring of department personnel.
