Dr. Keith Chadwick is the inaugural Sean Parker Fellow in Laryngology at the Institute, and an Instructor of Otolaryngology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He recently completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. As a resident, he presented original research at many local and national meetings. His prior research efforts include voice complaints in Zenker’s diverticulum, radiation therapy for laryngeal amyloidosis, dysphagia after spine surgery and management of idiopathic subglottic stenosis. He has also published several textbook chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics including the management of larynx cancer, surgical treatment of Zenker’s diverticulum and resident education.Dr. Chadwick’s clinical interests are broad and encompass all aspects of laryngology, including voice disorders, benign and malignant lesions of the larynx, swallowing disorders and airway problems. With a background in vocal performance and musical theatre, he has particular interest in the care of the performer and performing voice. His academic goals include the development of outcomes research focused on establishing evidence-based methods to guide treatment of laryngeal disorders. In addition to clinical study, his academic work at the Institute will culminate in a Master’s Degree in Clinical & Translational Investigation from Weill Cornell Medical College.Dr. Chadwick is a fellow member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and was recently appointed to the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
