Keith retired in 2019 after over 38 years as an employee of Medtronic. Most recently he led the Master Data Management process area within the Global IT organization. In this role Keith led all aspects of MDM including Governance & Data Quality, Process and Project Solutions, Data Operations, and Tools/Support.During his career at Medtronic Keith has led both Engineering and IT teams. From 2012-2013, Keith led the Released Systems Engineering team within CRDM Cardiac Connected Care R&D. In this role his team was responsible for all aspects of support for Connected Care solutions including: CareLink home monitoring solution, CRDM device programmer hardware and software, EPG hardware support, etc. Prior to moving to R&D in May 2012 Keith was the IT leader for the CVG business group as well as for Neuro. Over his career Keith has been involved in every aspect of IT solution delivery. Keith started at Medtronic in the Heart Valve business in 1981. In 1995 he moved to US Cardiovascular and in 1998 assumed a manager role with Neuro. Keith moved to CRDM in 2008 and added Neuro (2009) and CV (2011) to his responsibilities. Keith holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN and is a graduate of the Society for Information Management (SIM) Leadership Development Institute. In May 2005, Keith was selected as a recipient of the Wallin Leadership Award, Medtronic’s highest level award for leadership. Keith was recognized for: "​...continually meeting difficult objectives and commitments while managing flat and reducing budgets. He shares his keen eye for developing people in his role as a mentor for both IT, and non-IT employees and as a past mentor in the Menttium 100 program, which develops women for leadership roles."
