As a research analyst, I traveled throughout North America to meet with professionals in various sectors of agriculture. During that time, I also helped build software applications to streamline the Financial And Risk Management (FARM) Assistance Program. I was also one of the founding team members and primary developer of Simetar, a spreadsheet add-in for statistical, econometric, and risk analyses.I graduated with my Ph.D. in Statistics at Texas A&M University. I then began working with the professionals at Welch Consulting whom I assisted in labor litigation along with heading up the team to develop employment practice software. I later took up a position as a statistician for AgriLogic Consulting, LLC. As I have worked with this team over the years, we have developed several product solutions under the federal crop insurance program, produced international crop insurance policies and ratings, facilitated litigation support as expert witnesses, assessed reinsurance terms and portfolio risks, and provided expert reviews and analyses of current and prospective risk management programs.I am interested in learning about and providing enhancements in business risk analysis, statistics, actuarial science, econometrics, simulation modeling, and decision theory.
