• Spent 30 percent of the day completing insurance benefit verifications to confirm active coverage for Intrathecal pump management, processing Financial Assistant Applications for patients, and updating data in CPR+ system for billing; also trained new employees on the system and how to log important data.• Communicated the possible outcomes and liabilities with Physicians, Administrators, and Directors of the urgency and importance of why Nurses needed continuous access to their facilities to treat patients who needed refills on their Intrathecal Pumps.• Created a checklist to make sure required functions were implemented into each Single Case Agreement (SCA) from start to finish, which was later adapted to meet quality standards within the department.• Created introduction letters, informational sheets, processes to streamline SCA communication and then used data that was approved by senior management and updated to company training manuals to negotiate SCA’s with Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing facilities monthly to establish pricing for clients who needed extended long-term treatment. • Communicated with 20-30 patients, families, doctors, and office personnel daily in a professional and friendly manner to answer medical billing inquiries or questions regarding insurance and financial concerns.• Worked in coordination with Human Resources on New Hire Onboarding for the Revenue Recovery department; responsible for training and familiarizing new hires on all levels of the job function and how each department linked all functions of Revenue Recovery Management (RCM). • Completed interviews with candidates for department asking both Traditional and Behavioral type questions to determine fit for the department alongside HR; assisted in the selection and new hire process.
