I invested 12 years of my career with the most notable Orthotic and Prosthetic manufacturer in the world. As a member of Professional and Clinical Services I was part of a team that helped to shape product iteration, marketing, education, and outcomes. My day-to-day included product and clinical support laced with travel throughout North America and Europe to facilitate superior outcomes to the end user. Immersion in technology and outcomes provided me a unique perspective on how to approach patient care. That may all sound dry and fluffy, however, there is nothing more rewarding than to see a hope of walking again realized when all hope was previously on hiatus because of the lack of technology being available to meet that person's needs. There have been great strides in the Orthotic technology arena in recent years that afford outcomes that had only a short time before been on the "wish list" of possibilities. Speaking engagements are conversations in my view. I was able to experience one-on-one conversations all the way up to global gatherings in international settings. I help practitioners thrive when they ask themselves, "How can I give the best outcome to my patient".Lastly, over the last 12 years I was fortunate to be able to contribute to some of the industry periodicals in the form of commentary surrounding available technologies and how they can improve outcomes for the population in need.
