At DCF I had the privilege of being part of a dedicated group of human welfare professionals helping resolve problems to get the best outcomes for adults, children, and families. I helped protect the insureds of Florida. I drafted legislation, reviewed contracts for legal sufficiency, drafted consent orders, conducted legal research related to insurance law, and advised clients.

I played, hugged, taught, and connected with Kindergarteners and their parents. I helped build community, fostered curiosity, enabled children of all backgrounds to learn at their own pace using developmentally sound practices. I am proud to say I was a three-time nominee for Teacher of the Year at Cresthaven Elementary and Deerfield Beach Elementary Schools.
