This role involved the organization and execution of recreational events for youth and adult members with developmental disabilities. Duties included planning activities and fundraisers, booking venues, maintaining communication with members, staff, and community partners ,and coordinating volunteers. This was all in addition to ensuring events ran smoothly and were safe and enjoyable for all attendees.

My role at CNIB was to plan and implement various programs for the youth members with visual impairments. Such programs included a summer day camp for children, a life and employment skills program, and a college and university preparation program. Duties in organizing these events included communicating with members parents, community partners and staff, working with a team to plan and carry out activites, and ensure all materials were available.
