A positive and ambitious leader, I delight in looking to the future and leverage my interest in the big picture with my ability to creatively problem solve to plan thoughtful and engaging arts programming for children and families in a variety of ways. My interest in building meaningful connections with and between people enables me to pull seemingly disconnected elements together to form reliable solutions and gather unexpected teams that are ideal for serving this special demographic. My experiences working with children and families at the Art Institute of Chicago as well as in the Madison Public Library have enabled me to understand how communities interact with public institutions and how to maximize a family or individual’s involvement and take-away with their programs. In combination with my Art experience as an undergraduate at University of Wisconsin - Madison and my graduate work in Entrepreneurship at Northwestern, I am able to use my fearless attitude and inventiveness as a leader to maximize a team’s ability to project plan. As a creative turned business woman, I look forward to working in and creating inclusive environments where I am able to serve the public as well as motivate and inspire children to use art as a tool of empowerment and education.
