I am a dedicated advocate for advancing the legal, ethical, and policy frameworks that will govern humanity’s next great frontier: outer space. My journey into space law began with a magna cum laude degree in International Space Law from Lake Forest College, where I designed a unique interdisciplinary program combining political science, philosophy, physics, and law. My senior thesis, which analyzed Articles I and II of the Outer Space Treaty in the context of space resource exploitation, received distinction and reinforced my passion for navigating complex legal questions in an emerging field. Additionally, my academic work includes published research on cultural hegemony in advertising and a Spanish creative writing piece inspired by transcendental idealism, reflecting my diverse intellectual pursuits.I am a J.D. candidate at the University of Nebraska College of Law, specializing in space law and policy. As co-president of the Space, Cyber, and National Security Law Club, an editor for Nebraska Law Review, and a first-prize winner at the Student Space Congress, I actively contribute to shaping discussions on legal and policy challenges in space exploration and commercialization. My experiences as a legal intern with the Space Court Foundation and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri, have equipped me with skills in legal research, drafting, communication, and collaboration.Driven by the belief that space should remain a domain of innovation, sustainability, and equity, I aspire to contribute to the legal frameworks guiding its exploration and use.
