I am a 3L J.D. and Certificate of Concentration in Maritime Law candidate at Tulane passionate about maritime, aviation, and space law. I am currently interested in exploring post-graduate maritime law opportunities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, I am an NYU alumna and former copyeditor with a love for research, writing, and editing—and the Bluebook. I have been published for my research on DOHSA and its applicability to aviation and space in the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and I presently serve as the Journal’s Senior Notes and Comments Editor. As a Junior Member, I was awarded the A.N. Yiannopoulos Award for Outstanding Substance and Citation Editing for my contributions to the editing of articles to be published.I currently work as a Student Attorney with the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic, where I have gained hands-on litigation experience representing clients under Louisiana’s student practice rule. I have additional litigation experience through my clerkship with Orleans Public Defenders, and I have worked on a pro bono basis in both disability law and space law, amassing over 900 pro bono hours during my time in law school.I am actively involved at Tulane, where I founded and served as the president of three student organizations and on the executive boards of several others. I also served as the national president of a student organization during my 2L year.
