I am a partner at our firm's Orange County office, and I have the privilege of leading the Finance and Bankruptcy Practice Group. Previously, I co-led our Real Estate Finance Team.My practice primarily revolves around various commercial lending transactions, with a particular emphasis on real estate finance. I represent a diverse range of lending clients, including national banks, local and regional banks, publicly traded companies, debt funds, life insurance companies, and other lenders. I handle all aspects of real estate finance, from unsecured loans to loans secured by real and personal property.My expertise covers a broad spectrum of financial matters, including construction lending, syndicated loan transactions, distressed real estate workouts, and remedy enforcement. I have extensive experience in the financing, foreclosure, and restructuring of different types of loans secured by various real estate assets. These assets encompass office buildings, hospitality venues, retail spaces, condominiums, multi-family dwellings, industrial facilities, land development projects, mixed-use developments, and shopping centers.Additionally, I specialize in the financing of affordable housing construction projects. My focus extends to tax-exempt financing and bond transactions, where I provide tailored representation to lenders. I assist lenders in navigating the complexities of tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions, including the acquisition of multifamily housing revenue bonds through private placements.With a background in leadership within our firm's Finance and Bankruptcy Practice Group and previous experience co-leading the Real Estate Finance Team, I bring a comprehensive understanding of commercial lending dynamics and a proven ability to navigate diverse financing landscapes effectively.
