• Responsible for proper, safe, and efficient start up, operation, shutdown, and maintenance of six NYPA plant sites consisting of ten (10) GE LM6000 combustion turbine generators operating in simple cycle mode, and all associated support equipment. Each LM6000 capable of generating over 40 MW of power for the NYC Transmission grid.• Responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis. Also, ensuring that alarms and upset conditions are properly cleared and reported by taking appropriate corrective actions. • Verifying that each plant site meets their generating requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and de-energized electrical equipment. Equipment includes the gas turbine and auxiliary components, gas compressors, motors, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment.• Observe, record and evaluate data, maintain and review operational and maintenance reporting logs.

• Inspect and maintain the integrity of track circuitry, switches, and signal systems per Federal standards.• Performed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual test on signal system components throughout the railroad. • Familiarization with Federal Railroad Administration test standards, electrical circuitry, crossing gate logic and relay logic.

• Extensive in-depth mechanical knowledge of Bombardier CRJ200, CRJ700 & CRJ900 aircraft.• Repairing aircraft systems; installing mechanical system components; interpreting technical manuals such as fault isolation manuals and wiring diagrams; troubleshooting various aircraft systems; filling out maintenance records.• Performed routine invasive line checks that required inspection of critical aircraft components and the servicing of vital aircraft systems; gained an advance understanding of aircraft hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and gas turbine systems.
