MacroSoft (a division of Macro Computer Products) was a document imaging software and services company focused primarily on the financial institution market, specifically community banks. Its product line included COLD (Computer Output to Laser Disk), document imaging, check imaging, Internet document presentment and delivery, and data mining. In 1998, with 1,500 customers worldwide using the software, MacroSoft was acquired by SER Systems AG, Germany’s largest document imaging company and it became SER MacroSoft. Held multifaceted senior management role, tasked with directing software development and customer support and installation services during the rapid growth and acquisition of the company. Oversaw Software Development, Quality Assurance, Documentation, Customer Support Services and Internal System and Application Infrastructure. Provided pre-sale and post-sales support. Responsible for warehouse operations including hardware procurement and customer solution shipments. Managed 75 staff members.- Directed development, enhancement, implementation and maintenance of all software solutions through 3 major platform upgrades.- Overhauled the customer service department into a customer call center, installation services, and professional services. This allowed for the rapid expansion of the customer install base while maintaining customer support effectiveness.- Managed installation services for COLD and document imaging systems in support of the company’s rapid growth from 300 to more than 1,500 customer installations, with an average of 15 installations per month.- Managed the creation of a conversion services unit that successfully provided data conversion for all MacroSoft’s major competitors’ data.

CompuD was a computer and software consulting firm that provided network infrastructure and custom manufacturing software solutions.Co-founded and operated consulting company that performed network consulting and custom development applications.- Developed an automated interface between the product delivery and accounting systems for a regional food services company.- Received contract to perform COLD system installations for MacroSoft including system installations at four Federal Reserve banks.

Unisys Finance Corporation was the financial services arm of the Unisys computer company. It provided financing for the purchase and lease of large Unisys mainframe computer solutions.Performed key role as developer and internal system support. Managed internal customer support for B20 desktop systems.- Designed, developed, and supported lease equipment resale modules on Unisys A18 mainframe using Linc (a 4GL) and COBOL. Released first module (lease tax calculations) of the lease equipment tracking system on budget/on time.- Designed, implemented and supported the organization’s first LAN (Novell).
