About Matthew Lewis

In 1998, I jumped into an IT role at eoTek, a software development startup in its first year of operation in the mountain town of Evergreen, Colorado. Over the next ten years the company grew, doubling in size, and I grew too: from desktop admin to network and systems administration, infrastructure and datacenter management. What a team. What a time. Next, I moved from planet employee to planet business owner when I sold the mountain house, moved to the city, and acquired a division 12 specialty construction subcontractor in Denver, Colorado, at the cusp of the great recession. I downsized, exited lower performing markets, and focused on key customer relationships to achieve five years of profitability. Back in an IT day job, for two years I co-owned Denver’s best cookie delivery bakery, but that’s mostly my wife’s story. In 2017, the two of us put the Front Range in the rear view and moved to Colorado’s beautiful Western Slope where for three years, I supported I.T. systems in a multi region federal government environment. Now you'll find us back in North Carolina (Brunswick County), and, I'm back in the industry I left in 2008, supporting technology at mortgage subservicer ServiceMac LLC.
