As a journalism major at Texas State University, I have a passion for sports journalism and a goal to work in this field in the future. I have learned how to be open and network with various circles and organizations on campus and beyond.I currently work as a Sports Reporter at The University Star where I cover my specific beats and deliver in timely manner. Doing this has strengthened my knowledge of sports journalism early in my professional career allowing me to adapt to any situation that comes my way. I managed the front desk at the TXST Student Recreation Center, where I handle inventory, customer service, and administrative tasks. I also served as the chairman of Phi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity, where I led teamwork, communication, and created and managed social events. I have attained several connections and opportunities through these roles, and I hope to leverage them for further growth and learning. I am always eager to broaden my knowledge and skills and to seek any internship that comes my way.
