Located on the waterfront in downtown Stockton, I oversaw the management of the 10,000 seat Stockton Arena, 2,000 seat historic Bob Hope Theatre, 5,000 seat Stockton Ballpark, and Oak Park Ice Arena. Collectively home to the Stockton Ports Baseball Team, Stockton Thunder Hockey Team, Stockton Colts Youth Hockey Team, and the Stockton Figure Skating Club, the entertainment venues welcome a variety of sports and entertainment events to the community each year.-Oversaw relationship with the Tenants of the facilities, including the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL and transition to the Stockton Heat of the AHL, Stockton Kings of the G-League, and Stockton Ports - single A affiliate to the Oakland A’s, to ensure all contractual items were in compliance and good working relationships were maintained with venue staff and tenant.-Oversaw and worked in tandem with the Booking Director to book the Stockton Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, and Downtown Stockton Marina. In a 3-year period, increased the total number of events by almost 50%. Major events under executive leadership included the 2017 NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional, Top Rank Fight with hometown fighter Gabriel Flores Jr, San Jose Sharks vs. Vancouver Canucks Pre Season Game, 2015 Arena Bowl, and the 2019 California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Convention.-Oversaw relationship with the contract administrator from the City of Stockton to ensure compliance with all provisions of the facility management agreement.-Worked with Community Partners and Leaders to establish new community events and programs that promoted SMG and the City of Stockton.-Directly oversaw and managed supervisory staff for Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage, Finance, Operations, and Booking and Business Development Departments.-Oversaw on-boarding of the Downtown Stockton Marina to the portfolio of venues in Stockton.
