My role is to provide technical design, development, implementation and optimisation as of secure network solutions, as defined by a customers business and technical requirements. Some examples of major projects i have worked on are:- Design and Implementation of an MPLS network for a service provider as techincal lead. This included next generation features such as MPLS QoS, Dynamic VRF assignment and VRF aware firewall.- Design and Implementation of high availability, secure data center networks for both financial and ecommerce applications.

My role was network manager of this multinational legal and wealth management firm. My primary role was to support business operation through both client and internally driven projects in the areas of network infrastructure and security.Some examples of projects completed are:- A total redesign of the global network infrastructure. The goals of this project were to provide resilience and improve network efficiency. This project was conducted in multiple phases on various locations. Most of this development was based around Cisco infrastructure and Checkpoint firewalls. My main role was management as well as technical design.- Conducted a series of training initiatives to improve the technical skill of my own team members. The benefit of this training was made apparent during major projects. Consequently staff morale improved and greater technical understanding encouraged individual learning initiatives.

Gemplus LTD is a large multinational organisation that manufactures Smartcards and other security products. I was recruited as a network analyst to help implement new IT infrastructure within the company.
