I was a Mechanical fitter at HOWCO where I have been for the last 5 years. My day to day tasks include building various tools for the oil and gas sector through technical drawings and assembly procedures . These include torquing and pressure testing and flushing when required . Take instructions from my department supervisor and Carry these out safely and to a high standard and in a timely manner . Liase well with contractors, customers and witnesses to carry out the task in hand .

Carry out tasks as instructed by my line manager in a safe and effiecent manner . Work as part of a team often with a partner to achieve the tasks set out . Implementation of the planned maintenance of all the material handling equipment within the department , in accordance with the relevant procedures and workshop manuals. Repair any faults and change and replace defective parts as necessary . Maintain a log of all repairs undertaken , time taken and parts used for MHE and lifting equipment . Inspect lifting equipment in accordance with the standard maintenance routines and technical instructions . Also work outside normal duties as required do say to day ship tasks .
