Completed a Master of Arts in Communication with research and projects completed on misinformation in independent journalism, a pedestrian safety social marketing campaign, effects of videogame dependency on psychological wellness, moderate antifeminist content consumption habits, military and political applications of communication theory, and misinformation in documentary filmmaking enabled by new generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.As a Resident Director, I create a safe living and learning environment for all on-campus residents by coordinating with Resident Assistant employees, desk attendant employees, Residence Life and Housing coordinators, and other campus resources including University Emergency Responders, Student CARE and Student Conduct officers, and the Health & Counseling Center in situations ranging from facilities and medical emergencies, conflict mediation, student event programming, and housing management. My work also involves continuously teaching and managing Resident Assistants and desk attendants, advising for the Residence Hall Association student-led government, and utilizing my halls' budgets to support students through programming.Education experience also includes a year and a half as a K-12 Substitute Teacher, one year as a university Public Speaking Tutor, one summer as a Residence Director at Northwestern University, and two years as a Resident Advisor (RA) including some experience as a Residence Life Office Receptionist.Media experience includes ten months as a production coordinator over online and in-person church service productions as well as creating social media video content and managing the organization's YouTube page and app.
