I'm an integrated Master's and PhD student in Molecular Biology/Molecular Medicine at Aarhus University, Denmark. Working within the field of Immunology. I recently became a Fulbright Scholar in connection with my current research exchange at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. The Young Scandinavian Society for Immunology (ySSI) is an official part of the Scandinavian Society for Immunology (SSI), an organization bridging the national immunological organizations in the nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland). SSI is part of the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) which also has a branch for early career researchers called yEFIS, with whom we collaborate. EFIS is then again part of the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS). The work for ySSI includes contributions to the annual SSI conference as well as hosting a seminar series and other outreach activities.
