When it came time to choose what to major in, it was an easy choice. Video games had long been my pastime and one of my closest connections to my dead father. Not only that, but I found, through a computer science class in my high school, that I find game design fun and rewarding. That class also made me realize that I have some skill in coding as well, as I can solve problems through code quickly while keeping clutter down. These reasons made me come to RIT in order to get the best game design learning possible, so that I can enter the gaming industry well off.
