 Worked at the Chatham Bars Inn, a four-diamond hotel that caters to senior executives and their families, for five years. Started as a bellman and after two seasons was promoted to Bell Captain. Was responsible for managing employees, delegating tasks, and promoting activities for the Inn. Managed a team of twenty-four bellmen and valets. My experience in this position taught me how to manage a team of employees, balance a variety of tasks at one time and increase my interpersonal skills

 Successfully created, implemented and ran promotional events at Meservey’s Pitstop restaurant during the summers of 2009 and 2010. Saw an opportunity to create a program to increase client traffic at local establishments by focusing on attracting college-age individuals, which make up a high percentage of Cape Cod seasonal employees, into these restaurants. After creating an outline of a business plan approached several local restaurants until I found a restaurant with the right capacity, location, and desire to host such a program. In agreement with the owner I set promotional prices on beverages, hired a DJ, and ran all advertising using social media, pamphlets, and word of mouth. On average this event brought in over one hundred people per night, over $2,000 of revenue per night, and increased restaurant traffic by over 1,000%.
