Ken Rogner has been active in the swimming pool industry since 1967 when he left a management position with GM. He helped to begin a wholesale distribution company in the pool industry in 1969 (Cinderella Inc) and spent 1979-1984 as the President. In 1986, with three other partners he purchased Benson Pump Co and spent the next 13 years growing that company as its President until it was sold to SCP Pool (now Poolcorp-stock symbol POOL, NASDAQ) in January 1999. He served as Corporate Sales Trainer for POOLCORP until he retired in May 2011. In this position he taught webinar-based classes to POOL employees and customers in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe. Since that time he has been involved in training and communications including social media marketing with emphasis on YouTube videos (over 200 created in the last 12 mo), blogging (twice monthly) Facebook, Twitter and Google+. He is also a strong proponent of Pinterest and Houzz and their use by pool builders, retailers and service segment Members of the Carecraft organization.Specialties: Educating sales people in his Seven Step (Prospect to Partner) Program. Trade Association presentations, university presentations, sales training and consulting. He is fascinated by sharing how social media has impacted the Five P's of Marketing.
