My undergraduate focus was expert systems, statistics and AI. It was called Decision Sciences. I received and MS in Strategy with an emphasis in statistical analysis. I worked at a graduate research assistant for Donald Ratajczak in the economics department. I started my career in development as a COBOL, JCL and SAS developer. I worked for two large consulting firms doing IT strategy work. I successfully completed a contact center implementation for BellSouth which was my first foray into customer experience. I have been hooked since. I still view myself as a consultant. My passion is to help my customers achieve great customer experience for their clients and achieve their goals. I like to write about technology and customer experience so please read my articles and comment on them. You don't have to agree, in fact better if you do not! Alternative viewpoints provide me with understanding even more about my trade seeing and internalizing other points of view. I have spoken at Argyle, Forrester CX, CIO roundtables and other events.
