Senior Design Manager
Since Joining Six Degrees I have led two visual re-brand projects, finalising and implementing the first upon joining the company, and managing the second in it’s entirety following changes to the go-to-market strategy and brand positioning. I have also introduced a number of processes to streamline the creative workflow, including implementing a simple and effective creative request and briefing process, a collaborative project management tool and a robust file management system and content library.Day-to-day my key responsibilities are managing the development and consistent application of the new branding across all internal and external print and digital communications, as well as managing and providing creative direction to any external design resources. I also manage all creative requests from senior stakeholders across the business, in particular the large sales and marketing team, ensuring all brand materials produced are creative, consistent and evolving. Typical examples of the marketing materials I create are eBooks, infographics, social media adverts, data sheets, presentations and web graphics.
Senior Graphic Designer
Following the acquisition of KANA by Verint Software, I was part of the Global Marketing and Demand team who were responsible for creating engaging, multi-touch, multi-regional events and campaigns to drive customer advocacy and strengthen brand awareness. Specialising in brand identity development, graphic design for print and new media and art direction, my focus was to provide creative support to all areas of the business, in particular requests from the extensive global marketing teams. My key roles and responsibilities included: Brand Custodian: Working alongside the marketing and corporate communication teams, I was responsible for ensuring the design of all internal and external communications were consistent and evoked Verint's personality, mission and values.Design Management: Within this role I was line manager to an internal designer, and it was my responsibility to allocate and review all design work both within the internal regional teams as well as across many 3rd party design resources. I took a great deal of pride in ensuring the brand was applied creatively and consistently across all communications, and that I played an active mentoring role within the team.Creative Concepts/Art Direction: Often some of Verint's larger events and campaigns required a more custom approach or unique identity, which complimented the corporate brand, allowing me the opportunity to push the boundaries of the brand and get more creative with my designs. This involved thorough exploration of the design process, presenting a selection of concepts to key stakeholders and executives and implementing across all required deliverables and all regional variations.Creation of Marketing Assets: Day-to-day I was required to support the Marketing teams with any print and digital requirements for events and campaigns, some examples include trade show booths, event signage, business collateral, advertisements, interactive PDFs/eBooks, infographics and web banners/graphics.
