I put myself through college while being a single mother of three kids, and graduated with honors from the Automotive Technology Program at Eastern Maine Community College. I am continuing my education by finishing with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at University of Maine at Fort Kent. I am slowly crawling my way out of debt and am building a better future for my family.My plans are to finish the A.S.E. section A series to become a Master A.S.E. technician, along with finishing my Bachelor's degree in business in order to experience other positions in the automotive field, for when the time comes that the job of a tech is too physically demanding. I am currently restoring two antique vehicles, and I would like to further my education and skills by gaining some welding experience, along with branching out with service and managerial positions. I have worked as an automotive mechanical and collision technician, parts manager, and parts delivery driver. Although I love the automotive field, I felt the need to expand my skills and stimulate my mind. I felt I went as far as I could with automotive, and so I applied for aviation technician apprentice with C&L Aviation Group. Almost a month went by and I was unemployed for three weeks, feeling ghosted and unwanted. Around three weeks I received the email that I had gotten the apprenticeship position, which was soon followed with offers from numerous other companies all at once. I contemplated my choices, and decided to take the new road with C&L Aviation. Here's to new beginnings!

Accepting parts, filing paperwork, organizing and sorting parts to jobs, prepping parts for paint, pulling parts for active jobs, cleaning up completed jobs, determine which jobs have cores and return to appropriate vendor. In down time, I perform vehicle tear-downs for estimates and build bumpers, along with other jobs needed.

I will miss the people at Quirk, for they gave me a great 2.5 years, but I had the opportunity to expand my career and learn in the body shop field, which is what I wanted to do originally. Now I am continuing with my automotive technician skills and learning new body shop skills, all while incorporating my parts department skills.
