I have been involved in the creative world of advertising for over 15 years. I love to build on my experience, relationships and skills with an open mind for learning. My focus is on being positive, professional and measured in the experience that I bring to a role.  Beginning in a Cape Town art school and progressing through a series of well-renowned colleges I got my first job at BBDO Cape Town. It was a busy and complicated artworking studio for a junior which meant I learnt a lot at a young age. I had a great mentor to push me into uncomfortable situations which has really helped me progress in my career.Good industry knowledge, experience of every day tasks through to the complex nature of packaging artwork along with interesting personal experiences allows me confidence and seniority in what I do.From client liaison, project management, technical and creative artworking, training, sourcing, researching, resourcing and budget management, I am truly passionate in every area of my work. I believe my unique skill-set could ​add great value to any employer.Working specifically on packaging, master artworking and large global OOH production over the past few years I have gained additional skills. Organisation, patience and diligence has allowed me to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.Adobe Indesign – able to expertly artwork across packaging, press, OOH and DM using cutter guides, global text formatting, work in process and spot colours. Able to perform advanced tasks, confidently produce detailed and content heavy interactive and print guides. Eye for detail and thoroughness in checking the quality of the work.Adobe Illustrator – Able to build complex cutters to spec, logos and imagery in vector format using advanced tools including patterns, blends and gradients. Confident creating and sending files to print in various colour spaces including combinations of Spot and CMYK knowing how they will interact in ink. Using transparency and overprint correctly depending on colour space.Adobe Photoshop – Understanding of colour modes, file formats and tools, minor retouching, cloning, masking, comping, colour grading, layer masks and using transparency. Understanding the difference between low res and high res images. Understanding of colour profiles.
