I am passionate about fostering partnerships with clients that help them to achieve real business value from technology investment. There needs to be a balance between adopting new technologies, such as Generative AI, and helping clients optimise their legacy environments.I strongly believe the key to achieving success for our clients is for LAB3 to continue focusing on maintaining strong alignment with strategic technology partners and building technology tools that allow clients to do more with less. Having followed LAB3’s rapid growth as an industry disrupter, I first joined LAB3 as an Executive Director in October 2023 and became CEO in August 2024. I have always been impressed by the passion, energy, and speed with which LAB3 drives outcomes for clients in a way which aligns with my thinking. LAB3 delivers on the promise of what modern technology will deliver.Using AI + automation and with cybersecurity built-in, LAB3 has developed clearly defined products, solution frameworks, and services, providing speed and certainty for clients embarking on cloud transformation. The LAB3 catalogue, combined with world-class engineering talent and great partners, enables LAB3 to accelerate the change in technology approach our clients rightly demand and need to securely modernise in the cloud.Over my 20+ years at a leadership level in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, I have helped drive significant change for business and government clients. Prior to LAB3 I was honoured to serve as the Kyndryl President for ANZ and Chairman for Japan, the Managing Director of IBM Australia and New Zealand, and the Managing Director for EDS Asia.One of the most rewarding projects in my career was back when I was the Managing Partner, IBM Global Business Services, Japan, when I worked on the reconstruction of the Tohoku Region post the 2011 Tsunami. It is always deeply rewarding to be involved with technology projects that directly make a significant difference to communities and people.LAB3 feels like a natural fit for me in every way. Having operations across Australia and New Zealand, and with expansion into Asia, all three regions feel like home. My family and I currently live in Sydney, but I originally hail from NZ and lived in Japan for many years. It is exciting to continue working alongside great clients and friends I have known for so many years across these regions.
