About Kevin Brown

I'm a water resource engineer at a small water/wastewater utility on the eastern edge of Colorado Springs where I work collaboratively with stakeholders to manage one of the largest renewable aquifers in southern Colorado and provide water to over 25000 people along with hundreds of businesses and a Space Force base. I hold a master's degree from Colorado State University in Watershed Science with a focus on snowpack hydrology. I also hold a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering magna cum laude from Louisiana State University. I have strong skills in western water resources, water law, computational models, water chemistry, technical writing, and data analysis. I grew up in Boise, Idaho and have a strong passion for ensuring water stability in a changing American West.
