Expertise with GIS applied to produce and assist with data analysis for the Great Lakes Ice Cover Data Rescue Project. Managed and analyzed over 30 years of data, as well as co-authored reports of inter-decadal ice cover trends on the Great Lakes.

Utilized aquatic science background, previous teaching experience and problem-solving skills to teach two laboratory sections of an aquatic ecology course. Instructed and guided students in laboratory experiments, taxonomic identification, and field trips in order to convey the importance and relevance of concepts presented in lecture.

Promoted aquaculture as a means of sustainable development and provided technical assistance for up to 15 projects simultaneously. Planned and implemented outreach activities, including formal lectures and field trips designed to train farmers in the technical aspects of aquaculture.
